About Darcie Davis
She is a big-picture, creative thinker and has been a speaker, presenter and frequently-published author on customer loyalty, M&A integrations, women's initiatives, employee retention and marketing. Sales From People Initiatives She is outspoken about people initiatives that should be positioned to bring in sales but are instead narrowly focused on achieving Human Resource department objectives only. Her clients achieve marketing and sales results from women's initiatives, alumni programs and other internal programs that are typically assigned to Human Resource departments. Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty Darcie frequently advises her clients on the results of personal interviews she conducts with their customers and employees. She then uses that data to formulate recommendations for improvements to many areas of their business. Management and Marketing Experience Darcie has held leadership and upper management positions with organizations experiencing dramatic change: Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman; Davis, Kingsley & Company; Deloitte & Touche; WilTel and two architectural firms. Community Engagement She also donates her leadership skills and business savvy throughout her community. She currently is a Board Member for Success in the City and co-chairs their Strategic Alliances Committee. She serves on the Advisory Boards for SecureIT Consulting and The Dandelion Patch. Previously, Darcie was Executive Board Member of the Business Alliance of George Mason University (formerly the Century Club); two-term Board member of the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce; co-chair of the Advisory Board of the Reston Chamber Incubator Program (INCspire); member of the Advisory Council for the George Mason University Executive MBA program and a member of the Fairfax-Falls Church United Way Regional Council. Darcie was a member of the Leadership Fairfax Class of 2002 and earned her B.A. degree in Humanities from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She's Got Game She is an active member of the Blueberry Book Club, Game Girls and Creative Collaboration.
