Position internal, human resource programs to get sales results

Typically, the Human Resources team has responsibility for managing people initiatives such as:

  • Women's leadership development
  • Women's retention
  • Alumni programs

Darcie helps to steer the people initiatives to achieve sales results. She provides the sales and marketing focus to help her clients get more return on their investments on initiatives for people.

For instance, when a company spends time and money to find ways to attract and retain their women through a women's initiative, HR usually leads the effort, however, the investment should predominantly have a business development intention.

The development and execution of alumni programs are frequently assigned to the HR department. In professional services firms, a professional may also be assigned to lead the effort.
